Spring Book Sale!

The Spring Book Sale will take place on Monday, March 16th at 10:00 A.M. and will run through the week ending on Friday, March 20th at 4:30 P.M.

The Sale will take place in out Community Room and will follow regular Library hours.

We will have all sorts of exciting genres and authors for you to choose from. Including DVDS for $1.00. As well as some other miscellaneous items.

Come fill an entire paper bag of books and pay only $5.00 per bag!

If you are wanting to donate books please feel free to come in during regular hours and drop them off.

We look forward to seeing our community and we are thankful for all of your support!

The Library is looking more and more like Autumn these days with the help of our Story Time children. Pictured are the crafts these kids worked on yesterday morning! Thank you Betty Ross and all the parent volunteers for always putting on such a wonderful program.

Books will be $5.00 a BAG

DVDs will be $1.00 Each

We are currently taking donations, so please bring in any books or DVDs or audio books you are wanting to get rid of!

Story Time Is Back

Please join us for Story time as we celebrate back to school week. We will have snacks, crafts and stories! Please join us in the Community Room at 10:30 A.M. this coming Wednesday on the 14th. We hope to see you all here.

Summer Reading in Full Swing!

We are so enjoying our Summer here at the Inola Library! The kids are buzzing in on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for their chance to experience, “A Universe Of Stories.” We’ve gotten the chance so far this summer to experience the Oklahoma City Zoo show, Tulsa Magic Bubbles Show, and last the Mad Science show. We’ve made crafts, from moon dials, alien puppets, our own telescopes and so much more!

July 30th our winners will be announced in each age category and many will walk away with prices of all kinds! We look forward to this last week of Summer Reading.

Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program is right around the corner! With only a month left to sign up, pick up an application today in the Library. The program is open for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade.

This years program is themed, “A Universe of Stories” as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing. Join us for crafts, snacks, stories and more while we studying a universe outside ourselves.

JUVENILE BOOK CLUB

I heart book club

We are excited to announce the start of our Juvenile Book Club. So far we have 20 kids signed up from ages 7 to 15. The first book we will be reading is “Wonder,” by R. J. Palacio.

Our first meeting will be on June 27 at 6 P.M. in the Libraries Community Room. Each meeting will be hosted by Christina Thacker and myself.
